Brian Busch
- Owner/Main EngineerBrian has been a Sound Engineer since 1982, with vast experience working on systems of all sizes. He has honed his craft over the years at venues ranging from the smallest bars and venues to festival stages. At the same time, he also worked as a DJ and KJ (Karaoke DJ) for private parties and weddings. As the owner of Diamond Entertainment, he expanded the business to include karaoke in 2003. He now has 14 employees working over 20 karaoke shows a week. Brian has provided PA & Lighting for the annual SXSW Music festival in Austin for over 10 years, working multiple stages throughout the festival duration. Brian has also provided systems and has engineered for many local Austin bands including: Mingo Fishtrap, Radiostar, Encore, DysFunkShun JunkShun, Soul Circus, Les & The Funk Mob and many, many more.
Whether he's providing live sound, or hosting at one of the venues, private parties or weddings, Diamond Entertainment is Brian's passion. "I like to read a room we I start a show and see if I can really make them happy with the first song," says Brian. Brian is married to Nicole Busch and has 2 children and three beautiful grandchildren.
